Anyone willing to share some knowledge about arowanas - SMU Arowana branding research study
Hello, i am new to the topic about arowanas so my knowledge is still quite limited. I am very interested to find out more about how one goes about choosing the perfect arowana, like what features to look out for. Im also doing a marketing module in school so im interested in knowing what the branding is like with arowanas as well Hope someone can enlighten me!==comments==

eg; what type of arowana do u keep currently ? how many yrs of keep fish experience?
At least we need to understand if ure earning on ur own or depending on ur parent income (silver spoon)?
wat got to do? Grooming arowana is never a cheap hobby, from tank -> filtration -> food
Monthly already at least $100... and believe u do know the value of arowana.
so how much r u prepare to commit? We dont spoon feed...
weve seen many new players like u, asking ard many questions and ended giving up (excuses) ....
if u really wan to learn, then get urself involve in all threads under arowanas and water management forum...
After all were also newbie too (new arowana forum), so believe u shd able to finish all the threads in a day...

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion! Yeah, after doing some researching earlier on i do realise that keeping arowanas can be really really expensive.
Actually i do not own any arowanas myself. I am currently still a student in university. Basically i am doing a marketing project. But ive always been interested in arowanas cos i find that it is quite an interesting and niche hobby, so i decided to do my project on arowana branding. And i was hoping i could get firsthand insights from people like you who own arowanas

Woah you all sound so fiery over my branding survey.
Well to explain the content of my project more clearly, it is on marketing branding and i chose to do on the arowana industry. And when doing a branding study one would need a test brand as a focus point to base your findings on. And so i didnt want a bias response on a well known brand as peoples response to familiar brands tend to follow a general bias. Its like instead of using nike for sports brand i just randomly choose any lesser known ones like maybe new balance, elle sports or k swiss, which people who focus on sports attires and accessories will know of but not those who dont really buy sports wear. And so for using dreamfish in my survey, its just a test brand i chose after searching for a list of arowana farms, and then googling arowana farms, and then choosing a name from the list of arowana farms i found earlier that did not appear in the first few google findings. This is to test responses of buyers to a particular brand and non buyers to a particular brand.
Thats just about how my survey was formed.
